Job Title: Senior Quality Control Associate
Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support critical quality control operations on the second shift within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring accurate testing, compliance, and timely support of manufacturing through exceptional communication and proactive issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Execute sample receipt, prioritization, and accurate entry of information into laboratory management systems during the second shift.
- Serve as a key point of contact for manufacturing, addressing production schedules, issue escalation, and supporting operational continuity during night shift hours.
- Independently perform routine and complex analytical testing in disciplines such as chemistry, bioassay, and microbiology, including STAT testing when required.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, contribute to laboratory investigations for deviations or OOS results, and communicate risks to quality control leadership.
Required:
- Demonstrated experience working independently in a GMP-regulated quality control laboratory environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings in accordance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency using electronic laboratory and quality management systems, including LIMS, Biovia, and Veeva Vault or similar platforms.
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience, or an associate degree with 6 months experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
