Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary:
Join our client as a Senior Revenue Accountant, where you’ll play a crucial role in revenue operations and process documentation. This position requires expertise in ASC 606, focusing on contract assessment and revenue impact evaluation. You’ll also support financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate customer contracts using the ASC 606 five-step model to determine revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles and internal controls.
• Assist with daily accounting tasks and support team operations.
• Extract and prepare recurring financial reports, ensuring accurate data presentation.
• Document accounting workflows and identify process improvements.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in applying the ASC 606 model for revenue recognition.
• Experience in financial reporting and data extraction from financial systems.
• Strong process documentation and improvement skills.
• Ability to interpret and document complex Excel processes.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit documentation.
Technical Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, automation).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Tableau for data visualization.
• Experience with Oracle E-business is a plus.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and process flowchart software.
