Job Title: Senior Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Scientist to support analytical method development and testing for synthetic and small-molecule drug substance and drug product. Our team is looking for a hands-on analytical scientist who can contribute strong laboratory expertise, interpret data clearly, and collaborate effectively to generate robust, reliable results.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, monitor, and analyze experiments with limited supervision to generate reproducible and reliable data.
- Develop, implement, and modify analytical methods and protocols as needed, including transferring methods from literature into the lab.
- Perform analytical testing and support troubleshooting of equipment, experimental issues, and laboratory processes.
- Communicate data, interpretations, and technical findings to the work group and contribute to reports, presentations, and other scientific documents.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or PhD/PharmD/MD with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience.
- Hands-on analytical chemistry experience with meaningful HPLC experience.
- Technical capability in UHPLC, GC, Karl Fisher, and dissolution method development and execution.
- Experience in analytical method development and testing for synthetic/small-molecule pharmaceutical drug substance and drug product.
