Position Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior Systems Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to lead V&V activities for medical devices. In this role, you will assess and test electromechanical medical devices at various levels, ensuring adherence to regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and adhere to internal quality manual and procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide inputs to project plans and schedules.
- Develop V&V test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Assign project tasks and provide technical guidance to the V&V team.
- Execute test procedures personally and with technicians.
- Log defects, track issues, and participate in defect review boards.
- Provide project status reports and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering; electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience in developing test plans and procedures.
