Job Title: Server and Network Administrator
Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
- Apply security patches and updates regularly.
- Manage and optimize storage systems, ensuring data availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Develop and verify backup strategies, performing regular integrity checks.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, maintaining network performance.
- Document and manage network circuits and connectivity.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Proficiency in enterprise storage solutions like NetApp or EMC.
- Knowledge of backup solutions such as Veeam or Commvault.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and VLANs.
- Experience with network circuit provisioning and monitoring tools.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, Cisco (CCNA), VMware.
