Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Summary:
Join our client’s team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the facility. You’ll be responsible for handling material transactions, supporting shipping demands, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Uphold safety standards and follow all safety-related policies in storeroom and shipping/receiving areas.
• Manage material transactions and shipping demands using MRP systems and handheld scanners.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance storeroom and logistics processes.
• Participate in training to stay updated on the latest systems and support material demands.
• Organize and maintain shipping and receiving areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with periodic cycle count audits and kit multi-component lines as needed.
Skills Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with handheld computer scanners.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and work on your feet for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment like pallet jacks and stacker lifts.
Preferred Experience:
• 2-3 years in product fulfillment or warehouse environments.
• Experience with powered equipment such as fork trucks and pallet wrapping equipment.
• Knowledge of modern pick, pack, and shipping technology.
