Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Franklin, Massachusetts (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a hands-on leadership opportunity that supports the safe and efficient operation of a large facilities environment. This position is ideal for a candidate who can combine HVAC troubleshooting expertise with team supervision, strong communication, and a commitment to reliable day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct shift team members and vendors while ensuring maintenance service requests are completed efficiently with minimal disruption.
- Operate, control, and maintain HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems to support a safe and comfortable environment.
- Respond to emergencies and alarms, complete facility inspections, and document conditions that may affect occupancy and operations.
- Support junior engineering staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and prepare operational reports, technical evaluations, and work order documentation.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five or more years of relevant experience as a Senior HVAC Tech, Lead HVAC Tech, or in a similar role, including two or more years managing maintenance or engineering personnel.
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification and a Journeyman Refrigeration Technician's License / Massachusetts Refrigeration Technicians License.
- Experience using CMMS, BMS, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.
- Ability to work the stated on-site schedule, including 3rd shift, weekends, holidays, after-hours emergencies, and the physical demands listed in the job description.
