Job Title: Software Engineer-Test & Verification
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking talented professionals for a full-time position focused on setting up and configuring advanced test environments to support new software engineering initiatives. Our team is dedicated to designing, developing, and implementing testing strategies that enhance the quality, reliability, and functionality of software and hardware systems within operational platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments for system-level integration.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios to verify software functionality, performance, and safety, reporting defects and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency; partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to review requirements and test objectives.
- Create, document, and maintain test plans, procedures, metrics, and artifacts in compliance with data privacy and security protocols; provide clear feedback for defect resolution.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, and typically 3 or more years of experience in software engineering, or a Master’s degree with 1 year of experience in a relevant area.
- Proficiency in NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and automation, or similar HIL platforms; hands-on experience with NI PXIe systems and hardware integration.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar; familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and automated test and verification methodologies.
