Job Title: Solution Architect – Oracle Cloud Operate
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the end-to-end architecture and operational stability of Oracle Cloud solutions within this organization. Our team relies on this position to ensure secure integrations, effective incident management, and consistent delivery across technical and functional areas aligned with production support expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain current and target-state architecture across Oracle Cloud, integrations, and data flows, setting design standards and non-functional requirements.
- Lead root-cause analysis and recurrence prevention for complex production issues, serving as an escalation point across modules and integrations.
- Govern integration patterns and operational readiness including monitoring, error handling, reprocessing, and resiliency for Oracle Cloud environments.
- Drive quarterly update impact assessments, coordinate regression testing, validate production changes, and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Required:
- 8+ years of Oracle experience, with strong preference for Oracle Cloud and demonstrated solution architecture ownership within a production support/Operate AMS environment.
- Expertise in FBDI, REST and SOAP APIs, OIC/Middleware, OTBI, BI Publisher, Groovy scripting, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and VBCS.
- Proven track record in ITIL-oriented support models including incident, problem, and change management, with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, operational reporting, and mentoring technical support teams.
