Are you an experienced civil designer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a meaningful impact? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Staff Civil Designer and play a key role in shaping the future of civil engineering projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Design diverse civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to design codes and specifications
- Develop drawings for production work, including design layout, calculations, and problem analysis
- Analyze reports, maps, and data to plan and design projects effectively
- Review design drawings for quality assurance and compliance with project requirements
- Perform volume calculations for excavation, dredging, and site grading
- Integrate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into civil design and layouts
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to resolve design issues and achieve project objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in drafting technology or related field
- 7-9 years of related experience in civil engineering design
- Expert understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering theory and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
