Job Title: Staff Engineering Technician
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Staff Engineering Technician to support site development efforts for water and industrial water infrastructure projects. Our team is looking for someone who can help develop high-quality engineering deliverables, apply established design practices, and contribute to multidisciplinary project work that supports critical infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify site development plans using industry-standard design tools.
- Support grading, drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities design efforts.
- Review design inputs, assist with deliverable quality, and help ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare design calculations, material quantities, estimates, and related technical documentation while coordinating with project team members.
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience with Civil 3D grading.
- Autodesk Civil 3D experience required.
- Must be located within 50 miles of one of the listed office locations: Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; or Jacksonville, FL.
