Become a Key Player as a Staff Expeditor!
Are you adept at keeping projects on track and ensuring materials are delivered precisely when needed? We’re on the hunt for a talented individual to fill the role of Staff Expeditor. If you have a keen eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess experience in transmission line and substation projects, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Track major equipment delivery dates and communicate readiness to project managers and stakeholders
- Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with Purchase Orders
- Generate reports to assist Project Managers in material readiness meetings, highlighting purchase order status, lead times, and delivery dates
- Occasionally visit vendor facilities to verify production readiness and address any concerns
- Monitor supplier production schedules to ensure milestones are met and collaborate to resolve any delays
- Manage material deliveries to multiple sites, acting as a liaison between suppliers and site personnel
- Identify and report discrepancies in material deliveries, proposing solutions to maintain project timelines
- Ensure all final documentation is submitted for the completion of payment milestones
- Fulfill other duties as assigned and uphold all company policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, material tracking, or procurement
- Experience in transmission line and substation projects is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and support various projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess
