Job Title: Staff Mechanical Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented mechanical engineering professional to support world-class design work across a diverse portfolio of complex projects. Our team is representing this company in the search for a candidate who can contribute from concept through design completion and help deliver accurate, collaborative, and well-coordinated project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design activities from the conceptual phase through design completion.
- Modify and review production drawings for power, process, industrial, healthcare, airport, educational, commercial, and governmental or military facilities.
- Compile project-related data, support client presentations, review shop drawings, and assist with contract administration.
- Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations while collaborating with project teams and multiple disciplines throughout design and construction.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program
- 3+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience; consulting engineering experience preferred
- Strong experience in Mechanical/HVAC system design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience with Revit / BIM
- Experience with 3D modeling/design coordination, preferably Navisworks
- Experience with HVAC analysis and load calculations
