As a Staff Project Controls Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading project control processes to ensure the successful execution of our projects. From setting up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software to analysing data and developing schedules and forecasts, you’ll be at the forefront of driving project success. Top Responsibilities:
- Lead project control processes to ensure project deliverables are executed within budget and schedule
- Set up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software and analyze data, logs, and reports
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and implement effective scheduling reports, cost reports, and forecasts
- Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control
- Serve as a technical point of contact for the project team and approve Purchase Orders/Subcontracts
- Input changes to cost reports/forecasts and review change orders
- Develop cash flow reports, schedules, and progress measurement systems
- Support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM) and perform scheduled what-if scenarios
- Conduct field audits, quality checks, and inspections on project control deliverables
- Assist with Project Forensic Analysis and ensure compliance with all policies and standards
Top Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Enterprise Planning & Controls software, preferably Oracle Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques, cost management, and forecasting
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and certifications
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- 3 years of direct project control experience
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
