Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of planning portfolio engineers, client management, and sponsors to develop an integrated portfolio plan
  • Ensure seamless integration of synergies across projects within the portfolio
  • Contribute to budget planning meetings and assist in incorporating long-range plans
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to allocate budgets for transmission projects effectively
  • Support the development of our client’s 10-year plan and assist in compiling rate filings
  • Review engineering estimates and project change requests to maintain accuracy and alignment with the portfolio
  • Provide informal mentoring and training to portfolio engineers on T&D Design and projects
  • Interface with accounting groups to establish financial setups for projects
  • Generate insightful analyses and reports to facilitate project tracking, coordination, and execution

Top Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of electric/gas planning
  • Experience with transmission line and/or substation projects
  • Proficiency in budget planning and management
  • Strong project coordination abilities across multiple organizations
  • Expertise in engineering estimation and review
  • Familiarity with outage coordination and financial setup for projects
  • Excellent report generation and analysis skills

Experience and Education:

  • 3+ years of experience in electric/gas planning, transmission line, and/or substation work preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and professional etiquette
