Job Title: Staff UI/UX Product Designer
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented professional to elevate our technology product experiences through intuitive, visually engaging design. Our team values creative problem-solvers with a passion for delivering impactful user experiences in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research utilizing interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups while iterating on concepts based on feedback.
- Design intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces that maintain consistency with brand guidelines and ensure responsive accessibility across devices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of designs with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 4 years of related professional experience, OR associate degree and 6 years of related professional experience, OR high school diploma/GED and 8 years of related professional experience (one of these is required).
- At least 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a technology product environment.
- Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript considered a plus.
