Job Title: Store Planner – Senior
Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are representing a company seeking a highly skilled planning professional to support the execution of new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects. This role plays a key part in advancing store planning work from site evaluation through final fixture planning and architectural criteria development, helping ensure projects align with operational needs and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead site evaluation and pre-development planning by reviewing shell conditions, surveys, lease requirements, landlord criteria, and construction constraints.
- Develop site-specific fixture plans and architectural criteria drawings that align with company standards and construction requirements.
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Construction, Store Operations, Design, landlords, architects, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project schedules, monitor planning milestones, review deliverables for accuracy, and help resolve planning and design issues.
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in retail store planning, architecture, interior design, space planning, design development, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of REVIT, with usage clearly explained in the resume or resume summary.
- Working knowledge of ACAD/AUTOCAD, with retail store and fixture layout experience preferred but not required to be retail-specific.
- Experience supporting retail development projects from site evaluation through final design documentation preferred, along with strong knowledge of retail store planning, fixture layouts, operational requirements, architectural principles, construction processes, building systems, lease requirements, accessibility standards, and applicable building codes.
