Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Long Beach, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support airworthiness, technical documentation, and certification activities for aircraft design changes and modernization efforts. Our team is looking for a collaborative professional who can help coordinate technical work across functions while contributing to compliance, verification, and data analysis efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Support airworthiness evaluations related to project plans, design changes, and technical artifacts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining requirements aligned with regulatory and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineers and customers to support compliance and certification activities, including documentation and supporting data.
- Apply systems engineering principles to technical documentation, testing, verification, validation, qualification, and certification efforts.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- At least 1 year of experience working within a related engineering discipline such as Payloads, Structures, Electrical, or Cabin Systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in a role requiring project or program management skills and a good understanding of aircraft systems and modifications.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with requirements traceability matrix management, airworthiness methodology and criteria.
- Ability to apply systems engineering principles, tools, and techniques to design, technical documents, testing, and certification of aircraft.
