Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: El Segundo, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking talented professionals to support the design and development of advanced space-based communication systems. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to complex engineering work that supports satellite programs from concept through test and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop next-generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.
- Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms and perform performance analysis.
- Support waveform development, characterization, trade studies, integration and test, and in-orbit operations.
- Contribute to detailed system design and verification activities, including HDL-level design support and team leadership efforts.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience in digital signal processing / digital communications algorithms and techniques, including equalization, turbo/viterbi coding/decoding, channel estimation, filter design, and resampling theory.
- 3+ years of experience with Matlab or Simulink, 5+ years of experience in core digital communications and signal processing theory, and 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- 1+ years of experience working with FPGAs or ASICs.
