Job Title: Tech Lead – GenAI & Cloud Agents
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are representing a company seeking a hands-on technical leader to bridge traditional backend engineering with Generative AI. This opportunity focuses on guiding engineering work, troubleshooting technical challenges, and helping deliver AI agents and cloud-based applications on AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Design, package, and deploy AI agents from external environments into the AWS ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs that support cloud-based application workflows.
- Build and support Kafka producer and consumer workflows as part of integrated messaging solutions.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high coding standards while continuing hands-on development.
Required:
- Hands-on experience building or deploying GenAI-based agents and executing agents on AWS.
- Strong background in traditional REST API development, deployment, and management.
- Solid experience with Kafka, including both producer and consumer workflows.
- Deep working knowledge of deploying packages and APIs on AWS.
- Working knowledge of building tools on AWS that allow agents to communicate with external systems such as databases and third-party APIs.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex codebase issues, mentor junior and senior engineers, and remain hands-on in development work.
