Job Title: Technical Designer
Location: Everett, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking motivated professionals to join our team, where we support critical engineering processes and ensure product excellence from concept through to production. Our team plays a key role in developing and supporting innovative product and process solutions within a dynamic fabrication and assembly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fundamental drafting principles and design concepts to address product and process issues in real time during fabrication.
- Translate engineering inputs and conceptual ideas into drafted parts, product structures, and assembly definitions to support operational quality and changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve materials and process challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
- Produce and update technical documentation, requirements, and specifications to facilitate the deployment of tools, materials, and processes.
Required:
- Associate degree in a relevant discipline and at least 6 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience in drafting and aerospace design.
- Experience with detail and assembly parts, computer aided design, model definition changes, and an understanding of machining metallic parts.
- Proficiency in CATIA or equivalent solid modeling software and experience using Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT).
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments, solve problems effectively, and collaborate across multiple functions.
