Job Title: Technical Writing Specialist
Location: New Albany, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Writing Specialist to support manufacturing documentation and quality-related records in a GMP-regulated environment. Our team is partnering with this company to find a detail-oriented professional who can help improve document turnaround times, strengthen communication across functions, and support high-quality technical content.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments, protocols, and reports for the manufacturing team.
- Provide technical and clerical support for documentation preparation, data collation, and tracking of technical records.
- Liaise with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to manage documentation changes in a timely and effective manner.
- Support training documentation updates, process improvement efforts, troubleshooting projects, and quality system records including minor deviations, CAPA, and change control activities.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Science and/or Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in Science and/or Engineering with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Packaging, or Quality, or an Associate’s degree in Science and/or Engineering with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Packaging, or Quality, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Packaging, or Quality.
- GMP background and experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices environment.
- Prior experience owning deviations and/or investigations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with good documentation and communication.
