Job Title: Technician – Avionics – C
Location: Kent, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on technician to support engineering, production, and manufacturing activities across a range of electro/mechanical systems. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute to assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair work while helping maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies across development, test, and flight environments.
- Support testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and troubleshooting of electro/mechanical systems using schematics, diagrams, and written instructions.
- Perform wire harness fabrication, termination, repair, and testing, along with soldering, component-level board work, and mechanical assembly.
- Apply torque to fasteners and components, complete inspections, and provide input on manufacturing improvements and build changes.
Required:
- 3 or more years of experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.
- Familiarity working in an ESD EPA and with tool control/accountability processes.
- Experience using standard electronics assembly tools, hand soldering, and basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.
- Experience with applying torque to fasteners/components, fabricating and terminating wire harnesses, and application and removal of polymerics such as staking, potting, encapsulation, and conformal coating.
- Experience inspecting and certifying work to relevant standards and specifications.
