Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering
Location: North Hollywood, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, supporting cutting-edge projects with a focus on safe human spaceflight and advanced test operations. Our team works within a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality mechanical and electrical integration of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of components, subsystems, and test articles, including assembly, instrumentation, and testing.
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain vacuum systems, high-voltage/high-amperage power systems, and thermal processing equipment, including adherence to strict safety procedures.
- Support the build, modification, and rework of early development and prototype hardware, while providing feedback to engineering teams on design for manufacturability and testability.
- Interpret engineering documentation, execute test setups and operations, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping throughout all processes.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant hands-on technician experience, OR associate’s degree in a technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with vacuum systems (pumps, gauges, valves, basic leak-checking), high-voltage and/or high-amperage systems, and mechanical assembly using standard hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and written work instructions and test procedures; proficiency with common shop and test equipment (e.g., torque tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges).
