Job Title: Telecom Engineer
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals ready to help deliver wireless infrastructure projects by supporting design, field validation, construction drawings, lab testing, and deployment. Our team relies on technical expertise to bridge the gap between RF design and practical implementation for private LTE and other wireless solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Execute wireless engineering activities from initial survey and design through implementation, testing, and optimization.
- Perform link budget calculations, reliability analysis, and path feasibility studies to support wireless systems.
- Generate Bill of Materials, review and redline construction drawings, and support equipment installation and site integration on-site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline related to communications.
- 2-5 years of wireless communications related work experience.
- Hands-on experience with preliminary RF design using Infovista Planet and GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Ability to perform field/site engineering support, conduct path and site surveys, and assist with lab testing.
