Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented automation professional to join our client’s quality assurance team. Our team is committed to ensuring robust and reliable software solutions that support strategic revenue and cost-saving initiatives within a collaborative agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute API requests, collections, and environments in Postman, focusing on test validation and assertions.
- Collaborate with developers, quality engineers, and product owners to define requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
- Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation to drive transparency and auditability.
- Work closely with an agile QA test team to support software quality through both automated and manual testing techniques.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting, with hands-on experience in Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
- Experience using IntelliJ IDE, version control systems (GIT, Bitbucket), and familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking.
- Strong test data validation skills, with a foundational understanding of SDLC methodologies and both automated and manual testing environments.
