Job Title: Test Engineer II
Location: Southfield, Michigan – Hybrid
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to help drive quality and reliability in products and systems through innovative testing processes. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing of software applications, embedded systems, and hardware components.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using scripting languages and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage across testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, identify scenarios, and participate in design reviews and requirement discussions.
- Analyze test results and metrics, maintaining scalable test environments while providing actionable feedback to stakeholders on product quality and coverage.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance with a focus on both manual and automated testing in technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, scripting languages (such as Python, Java, or C++), and defect tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles, and experience with NI Platform Validation and Vector tools including CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape.
