Job Title: Transmission & Distribution Superintendent
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead field operations and drive the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of high voltage transmission and distribution construction projects. Our team values strong leadership and attention to detail to ensure superior performance, project continuity, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day field construction activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, scheduling, and safety standards.
- Supervise subcontractor performance, address project scheduling and work plan concerns, and maintain project progress documentation.
- Conduct job site audits, including safety documentation reviews and daily field reports, while developing and managing punch lists for quality assurance.
- Interface with clients, engineers, and contractors to manage field change orders, implement project procedures, and verify compliance with project scope.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years’ construction management or craft supervision experience on transmission and distribution projects; or Associate Degree with 9 years’ experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 11 years’ experience on transmission and distribution projects.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven safety background.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to meet driving requirements and maintain residence within 70 miles of the greater Boston area.
