Job Title: Transmission Planning Engineer

Job Summary:
Join our client’s Integration and Planning Team as a Transmission Planning Engineer. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting competitive transmission projects by conducting transmission analyses and managing interconnection processes. Your work will drive growth and partnerships across the US.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct and lead engineering and transmission assessments.
• Provide insights through production cost modeling and market evaluations.
• Innovate simulation and analysis methods to support new initiatives.
• Lead technical analyses for potential project partnerships.
• Document and present findings, preparing executive summaries.
• Support siting, permitting, and licensing requirements as needed.
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong experience in transmission system analysis.
• Ability to translate complex data into business insights.
• Knowledge of US power industry standards and market fundamentals.
• Experience with renewable generation and energy storage technologies.
• Excellent communication and data manipulation skills.
