Job Title: Transportation Project Manager
Location: INVER GROVE, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading organization seeking a skilled project leader to support Transportation Initiatives and help drive complex work from planning through completion. Our focus is on connecting the right candidate with a role that values collaboration, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop project plans, identify key milestones, and coordinate interdependencies across initiatives.
- Work with sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to define scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timing.
- Manage project teams and support the delivery of established business goals and objectives.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities across projects while preparing status reports for managers and stakeholders.
Required:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience supporting and managing large-scale projects and programs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field.
- Strong experience in project coordination, delegation, communication, public speaking, facilitation, problem-solving, analytical thinking, multi-tasking, organization, leadership, and time management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Background in Transportation, Fleet Management, or Logistics is preferred.
- Project Management Certification in PMI or other methodologies, Change Management certification in Prosci or other, and Lean Six Sigma certification and/or experience are highly desirable.
