Job Title: Turnaround IE Planner
Location: Mont Belvieu, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team supporting planning and scheduling functions at a major industrial facility. Our team drives operational excellence by developing detailed job packages for turnaround and maintenance activities, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with all site standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive job plans for equipment repairs and improvements including materials, tools, resources, cost estimates, and scheduling logic.
- Utilize stakeholder and subject matter expert feedback to enhance accuracy and execution methods for maintenance activities.
- Create and maintain task lists and bills of materials, incorporating previous repair history and knowledge from approved vendors and internal clients.
- Participate in cost estimating, planning, and coordination for turnarounds and outages, including leading job plan discussions and safety huddles with all stakeholders.
Required:
- AAS Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical plus 10+ years of instrumentation/electrical maintenance technician experience within the chemical/refining industry.
- 5+ years of leadership and planning experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, and general knowledge of Oracle and Toadfly Planning Tool.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining plant equipment, including knowledge of Compressor Controls, Motor Controls, PLC, SIS, Industrial Power Distribution, VFD, UPS, Battery Chargers, Analytical, Measurement, and Valves.
