Job Summary:
Join our team as a Unix/Linux System Administrator in Columbia, SC, where you'll ensure system stability and performance in a dynamic enterprise setting. You'll play a key role in maintaining Unix-based systems and driving automation through Bash scripting and Ansible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Unix/Linux systems, including AIX, Linux, and Solaris.
- Monitor and resolve system performance issues, adhering to SLAs.
- Troubleshoot server, application, and system incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address technical challenges.
- Build, deploy, and configure servers and systems.
- Create and maintain Bash scripts for task automation and reporting.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Unix/Linux system administration (AIX, Linux, Solaris).
- Experience in a ticketing/SLA-driven support environment.
- Strong Bash scripting skills for automation.
- Expertise in server builds, deployments, and maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders.
