Job Title: Wire Design & Install Engineer
Location: Renton, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support complex electrical design programs, with a primary focus on wire installation projects within aerospace environments. Our team values technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.
- Analyze results, perform design reviews, and provide engineering disposition on discrepancies in design and production requests.
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures to support the manufacture and installation of electrical commodities.
- Collaborate in technical reviews, support supplier capability evaluations, and participate in integrated design development activities.
Required:
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3D modeling for complex electrical and wire routing designs.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in wire routing design or equivalent technical education and work experience.
- Background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, typically with an accredited bachelor’s degree or higher; ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
