Job Title: Transportation Logistics Specialist
Location: Inver Grove, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to help drive efficient transportation of materials and products across multiple platforms. Our team values collaborative problem-solving and market insight in optimizing supply chain operations and establishing cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise transportation carrier management through rate negotiations, relationship management, and carrier segmentation.
- Negotiate rates and contract terms with carriers while maximizing load pairing and value creation across product lines.
- Monitor carrier performance and key metrics, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain service levels.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align transportation strategies with changing business demands.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Ag Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics execution, or operational roles.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with knowledge of commodity markets and transportation logistics.
- Ability to analyze operations for process and cost improvements, communicate effectively, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
