Job Title: DevOps/Automation Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the strategic direction and execution of cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and IT operations. Our team ensures the scalability, security, and reliability of a cloud-based commerce platform, focusing on innovation, continuous improvement, and high availability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for infrastructure, security, continuous integration, deployment, and operational excellence for a production and development environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure with a focus on system scalability, reliability, and process simplification.
- Collaborate with development and QA to enhance existing features, support the rollout of new services, and continuously improve platform performance.
- Implement and manage automation and Infrastructure as Code practices to optimize system efficiency and minimize operational errors.
Required:
- Multi-cloud expertise, specifically with Azure and GCP.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD, particularly using GitHub Actions.
- Strong scripting and tooling skills, with preference for Python and Go.
