In general, a network analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, management, and repair of the computer network. A network analyst may work on their own or with an IT team, depending on the size of a company. They may also be required to outsource with third-party IT staff as needed. Network analysts may be troubleshooting low-level network issues with end users or they may be in charge of higher level issues such as network security.
