Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a highly skilled wireless networking professional to support complex, global enterprise environments. Our team is looking for someone who can lead advanced wireless initiatives, strengthen client experience, and help drive reliable connectivity across a large-scale footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless network solutions across enterprise environments.
- Architect and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine deployments for Radius authentication, policy enforcement, and AAA.
- Deploy, configure, and analyze client experience monitoring tools to identify and resolve wireless performance issues.
- Serve as an escalation point for RF design, troubleshooting, performance tuning, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required:
- Current CWNA certification is required.
- 8+ years of progressive wireless network engineering experience in large-scale, global enterprise environments.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies, including AireOS/IOS-XE, Catalyst Center, and Prime Infrastructure, plus advanced hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for enterprise Radius, AAA, and policy management.
- Advanced proficiency with Ekahau for predictive and active WiFi design, including ECSE certification, along with experience using client experience monitoring tools such as NetAlly or similar platforms.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Jira, managing RMA/TAC cases with Cisco, and strong understanding of access layer switching, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and network security best practices.
- Ability to conduct site surveys and walking surveys as needed, up to 5 hours per day.
